Meet the Team
Dave Shamberger is President of Winstar Interactive and is responsible for Winstar’s revenue, including sales, service, new business development, strategy and management.
Dave joined Winstar in 2006 from GameDaily, where he held the position of Eastern Sales Manager for GameDaily’s digital sales team.. He previously held senior advertising sales roles with UGO Networks, Redherring Communications, Entrepreneur Magazine, Scholastic Publishing and Thomas Publishing.
Dave holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Niagara University and resides in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife, son, two daughters and their lab Cooper.
As Vice President/Secretary of Winstar Interactive, John Foley is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and new business development at Winstar.
Winstar Interactive was launched in 1996, as a site-specific representation company with online advertising dates back to the early days of the internet. John has been with the company since its inception. Over the years John has developed and produced the internal infrastructure, accounting functions and operations, Positioning Winstar Interactive as the leader in site-specific representation, tailored to each unique publisher.
Prior to joining the Winstar team John worked for six years at Office Depot as Inventory control Manager. Office Depot is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.
John is a graduate of Florida State University, with a Political Science degree.
When not at his desk John enjoys going to the beach with his wife and two kids. He also enjoys playing a round of golf.
Bill McEntee is a Florida Certified Public Accountant. Bill graduated from Villanova University, began his accounting carrier with Arthur Andersen & Co in Newark, New Jersey. He moved to Florida in 1971 and became the Chief Financial Officer for Sudbrink Broadcasting until 1994 which acquired, operated and sold radio and television throughout the United States.
In 1994, Bill acquired and operated WCEE-TV in Mt Vernon, IL until 1996 when he sold the station to Paxon Communications. In 1996, he acquired and operated WXTL-AM in Jacksonville, FL, applied to the FCC and was granted a construction permit to improve the signal to 50kw day and 35kw night. Today the station has one of the most powerful AM signals in the Jacksonville market.
In 1997, Bill formed Media Financial Services (MFS), an accounting organization to provide outsourced accounting and financial reporting services to media companies. MFS currently has offices in West Palm Beach, Florida.
As Director of Operations for Winstar Interactive, Michael oversees the Operations and Trafficking Department, providing employees, publishers, and advertising clients with the vision, tools, and support to successfully execute their interactive advertising programs. Additionally, Michael heads Winstar's business development for the Eastern Region.
Palmieri joined Winstar in 2008, spearheading the relationship, operations and trafficking for a major interactive financial client. This client experienced record growth and profits in 2010.
Prior to joining Winstar, Michael’s professional career included marketing stints with Dow Industrial members ExxonMobil and American Brands, IT consulting for Ajilon Services and more recently directing the operations and trafficking for a privately held Florida organization.
Michael, a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications currently resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
Mark Crona came to Winstar Interactive after spending the previous 12 years as the Interactive Marketing Manager for Toyota. His accomplishments there included the development of an online advertising strategy consisting of regional websites, banner campaigns, Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization and integrating these with traditional media.
Mark has spent his professional career developing relationships throughout the Marketing community and has enjoyed particular success utilizing his abilities implementing Marketing Strategies.
Adrienne comes to Winstar after nearly 20 years in the Sports Marketing Industry, beginning with 7 years at TaylorMade Golf. In addition to her time in Sports Marketing, Adrienne has worked with her corporate clients and their agencies in Sponsorship Sales, Corporate Hospitality, Experiential Marketing/Events and most recently, Digital & Social Media Marketing.
Now focusing on her clients’ digital & mobile advertising strategies, Adrienne is producing results that exceed her clients’ expectations. She credits her success with “representing the very BEST products” in the industry, thus making her job “F-U-N”.
Adrienne holds a Bachelor’s from California State University Long Beach, and when not “talking digital”, can be found on the golf course, wine tasting/cooking/entertaining, or at a Long Beach State Dirtbags baseball game.
Mila Tokar is a Regional Sales Manager for Winstar Interactive and is responsible for Winstar’s Northeast territory.
Mila rejoined Winstar in 2014 from Newsday, where she held the role of National Account Manager. She also held Sr sales positions with Metro and RGM Group. Mila had previously worked in the sales department for Winstar Interactive from 2006 – 2011 where she grew from a Jr Account Executive to Regional Sales Manager. Mila got her start in the advertising industry on the agency side of the business working with Zenith Optimedia where she put together multi-media plans (TV, Print, Radio, OOH, Non-Traditional) for JP Morgan Chase and Nestle product launches.
Mila offers a unique balance of hard work and a dedication to delivering best in class solutions for her clients. With over 10 years of experience in the advertising industry, Mila delivers the knowledge necessary to navigate the ever changing digital media landscape.
Mila holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Baruch College and resides in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and twin daughters.
A Digital Media & Advertising professional with 16 years’ experience on the internet, Scott brings a strong Technical Sales and Marketing background, while specializing in Corporate Partnerships and Business Development. He has a keen sense of blending his product knowledge with business opportunities at any scale.
Scott is Google Analytics & Adwords certified and has built websites, monetized hundreds of domains, along with building Search Engine technology and contextual Ad Platforms. Always the loudest in the room, part of being a basketball coach and may also be due to his playing guitar in a punk rock band back in the 1980’s.
